Principal’s Message

Welcome to Niagara Street Elementary School! Building dreams, minds, and futures is our mission. The Niagara Street Elementary School community consists of educators, support staff, parents, and community partners working together to provide a safe, orderly, and productive learning environment for all students. All Niagara Street stakeholders are committed to preparing our students to meet the challenges of the Common Core Standards, and become good character citizens in their community. We aim to develop the whole child!

Academics - Our Teachers, Support Staff, and Administrative Team have embraced the Common Core Standards. Our Niagara’s Choice Literacy and Math Program continue to promote “best practice” in the field of elementary education. Our goal is to prepare NS students with the necessary knowledge and skills to flourish in prep school, high school, and college, while at the same time encouraging creativity, curiosity, and a life-long appreciation for learning.

Character Education - We strive to develop the social and emotional growth of each and every child. School wide character education is promoted each and every day. Our goal is to graduate grade 6 students that are kind, helpful, tolerant, and productive.

Technology - Niagara Street Elementary School is a state-of-the-art school which offers students the latest in educational technology. Students will benefit from the daily use of interactive smart boards, computer labs, computer stations, and our new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) lab.

State-of-the-art facility - Constructed in 2006-2007,Niagara Street School boasts a beautiful auditorium, pool, gymnasium, cafeteria, and outdoor stage.This colorful and energy efficient school is the centerpiece of the entire Niagara Street community in Niagara Falls.
