District-wide Spelling Bee

Calling all spellers!

What captures the essence of American public education better than a good old-fashioned spelling bee?

The Harry F.  Abate Parent Group is hosting a District-wide Spelling Bee Tuesday, March 13, 2018, 5-7pm, at Abate, 1625 Lockport Rd. There is a mandatory informational and registration meeting that will take Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at 5pm at Abate.

The Spelling Bee is open to all students in the Niagara Falls City School District in grades two through six.

Registration fee for the Spelling Bee is $1 per student. The fee and the permission slip will be collected at the Information and Registration
Mtg. on Feb. 27. At that time, the word lists will be distributed as well.

Admission to the Spelling Bee on March 13 for adults is $5 (siblings under 12 will be admitted free).

"The evening will also include a coloring contest, photo booth, prizes and snacks for sale during the intermission. We expect it to be a
wonderful, fun evening for many of our district students and their families," said parent group member Becky Hedgepeth.
