Youth Employment Program

For Seniors, Recent Graduates and Those Who Want to Complete their Education

The NFHS Youth Employment Program teaches the skills needed for successful employment and career exploration.  Students will learn how to correctly fill out employment applications, complete a resume and practice interviewing.

The highlight of the Youth Employment Program is that students may receive 6 - 8 weeks paid work experience.  Students will work at various local businesses and agencies after school and on weekends.  They receive minimum wage and work a maximum of 20 hours per week.  The experience gives them the opportunity to learn valuable real life skills as well as investigating a possible career choice.
