The NFHS Youth Employment Program teaches the skills needed for successful employment and career exploration. Students will learn how to correctly fill out employment applications, complete a resume and practice interviewing.The highlight of the Youth Employment Program is that students may receive 6 - 8 weeks paid work experience. Students will work at various local businesses and agencies after school and on weekends. They receive minimum wage and work a maximum of 20 hours per week. The experience gives them the opportunity to learn valuable real life skills as well as investigating a possible career choice.
