Common Core Standards and ResourcesAs New York State adopts the Common Core Standards for each subject area, one of the major questions which arise is this: Where do I find information regarding NY Common Core Standards and especially where do I find resources aligned with the Common Core Standards which I can incorporate into my classroom plans? The list of resources is growing. Although as of now NY has adopted the Common Core for Language Arts and Mathematics, there is a calendar which includes the adoption of CC Standards in other areas. so it is necessary for all teachers to become aware of the CC standards. This page will try to list the most current and best resources. If you find a good resource, please send it along to Gene or Roger and we will make sure it is published and shared with our teaching community.

Sites With Resources Aligned to Common Core Standards
NYLearns is transitioning its alignment to Common Core. You can find Common Core Alignments by following the steps on the left. When you select an activity, go down to the Alignment. You will find the older NY Standards listed first. Just continue down the list and you will find the appropriate Common Core Standard alignments.
LearnZillion is a learning platform that combines video lessons, assessments, and progress reporting. Each lesson highlights a Common Core standard, starting with Language Arts and Math in grades 3-9. This is a great resource.
The Library of Congress has aligned many of its vast resources to the Common Core Standards. It has a very easy search engine. Teachers whose standards arenot Common Core aligned yet may also use the search engine to find aligned resources.SAS Curriculum Pathways is a Terrific Site. It has resources for all subject areas, not just Math and ELA and they are standards aligned to current state standards.Live Binders is a place where you can find great resources. Here are more than 50 "Binders" with Common Core links.Create an account to store and add to your interests.all types in the form of pictures. It can be a bit difficult to maneuver through, but use the "search" at the left and you can find lots of great materials. You might even want to create your own account for storing your own topics.
