         The Instructional Office is responsible for the public and media relations work of the Niagara Falls City School District.  Public Relations has been contracted to coordinate special functions including:

*    Production of the District newsletter Our Schools

*    Production of the District’s Annual Calendar Guide

*    Assisting in the planning and production of district educational access programming in cooperation with the local cable operator

*    Production of business cards, district and school brochures, individual school parent handbooks, dinner programs, and district videos

*    Strengthening relationships with parent and business groups, while maintaining contact and providing services for schools and key district-related committees

*    Developing special events including an American Education Week celebration, Board Member Recognition, Teacher Recognition, Parent and Partner Recognition, Community Forums on Special Issues including the school budget and others, which highlight the District’s commitment to excellence

*    Providing photography services for the local media, district publications, and for hallways and offices to reinforce awareness of what is happening in our schools

*    Coordination of special events to highlight achievements of students and staff
